Scott Klein joined the City of Madison in April 2023 as Director of Parks and Recreation.  He oversees the upkeep and programming of 28 parks in excess of 200 acres, while also managing the city’s Sunrise Golf Course, Riverview Campground, Senior Center, and Crystal Beach Aquatic Park. Scott’s education and work experience is all encompassing and includes food service management, facilities and grounds management, construction management as well as various certifications in green building and renewable energy technologies.
