Starting out as a 16 year old seasonal lifeguard in 2011, Jordan climbed the ranks over the years to eventually become the Senior Manager of Aquatics in April of 2022. Jordan is dedicated to keeping a safe, welcoming and fun environment for the communities he serves, and strives to create an atmosphere of teamwork, comradery and professional growth amongst his staff!

I have been with Clarksville Parks since 2017, when I started as the Aquatic and Recreation Director. Since then, I have continued to run our seasonal aquatic center as I have moved my way up to being our Assistant Superintendent as of fall 2021. I handle everything in our department from aquatics, youth sports, facility management, software management, and grant writing.
Julie Martin
Aquatic Coordinator
West Lafayette Parks and Recreation
Julie is originally from Rensselaer, IN. She has her bachelor’s degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been certified in multiple areas of aquatic instruction and management and most recently completed her Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) and Certified Parks and Recreation Professional Certifications. She has been married to her husband, Brady, for 35 years and they have 2 adult children. Julie has managed and helped train at multiple aquatic facilities for 37 years. Her career in aquatics began by managing the Rensselaer city pool. Her husband served in the U.S. Air Force which relocated them to Rapid City, SD in 1992 where she began her aquatic career with YMCA’S. Her aquatics career continued when they moved back home again to Indiana, where she managed the YMCA in Lafayette from 1998 – 2017. In 2020, Julie decided to return to her roots in Park and Recreation and help certify, train and prepare the 40+ staff being hired to operate the newly constructed aquatic facility in the John R. Dennis Wellness Center in West Lafayette. In September 2021, she was hired as the Aquatic Coordinator for the City of West Lafayette and continues to lead the aquatic staff team, for both the Wellness Center and the community Municipal pool.

Bryce Jones has been with Spear Aquatics for 25 years. For the last 17 years, he has been an Aquatics Consultant covering Western Indiana, Central & Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky. He is also a Certified Pool Operator Instructor with the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance and has been teaching since 2011.
